Man Arrested After Running An Alleged Pit Bull Fighting Ring

February 21, 2004, LITTLE ROCK, AR - A Pulaski County man is arrested after
running an alleged pit bull fighting ring in his back yard. The Pulaski
County Sheriffs Department responded to a call early Saturday afternoon
about dogs fighting at the home of 21 year-old Lamonte Young. He lives on
East 46th Street in McAlmont.
Young is charged with animal cruelty and dog
fighting. Police also say they found 2 dead dogs on a burn pile, 4
malnourished dogs and 16 others chained in the back yard.
